Rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law

BOYS OBSERVATION HOME

PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING at boys observation home, gwalior since 2012. Not just individually counselled more than 1500 of these teenagers but also helped many of them get rehabilitated. We also conduct group counselling sessions inside boys observation home.

FOLLOW UP: We also helped start a good practice of follow up counselling for the bailed out juveniles. These counselling sessions also involve speaking to their parents/guardians. Identifying the children who are in need of care and protection.

INDIVIDUAL CARE PLAN: For those who are also identified as children in need of care and protection (CNCP). We prepare individual care plan and help excecute it.

EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAM

We give opportunity the juveniles in conflict with the law to go through our employability program. Most have them have got employment after the completion of this program.

COMMUNITY WORK

Juveniles in conflict with the law are encoruaged to participate in community work. They have joined us in flood relief, roti seva, mental health awareness campaign, blood donation (few of them when turned 18)

SUMMER CAMP: JUVENILES IN CONFLICT WITH LAW

Summer camp was organised for in boys observation home to teach them art & craft. Given moral education through people from various walks of life and career guidance. Hand lot of fun activities

Career Guidance at Boy's Observation Home

Prof. Joseph Soy Matthew of Institute of Hotel Management, Gwalior gave a talk to Juveniles in conflict with the law on various kinds of work to generate income and to become self dependent. Works with practical requires no skill or very little skill. Even the works which require no financial investment or very marginal.
